citizenM embraces the neighborhood in which it resides — the city, the culture and most importantly, the people.
To pay homage to the locals of our new locale, we hosted a celebration that truly embodies the Bowery and introduces citizenM as the new kid on the block.
Key moments of theatrical grandeur included: a contortionist that climbed out of a glowing red hotel drawer within a mylar lined room, custom cotton candy concoctions that provoke guests to find their sweet side, a champagne filled bird cage installation, disco-head dancers jiving to the beat, and much more.
My role on the project entailed: leading design and creative from proposal phase to load-in installation, costume design, installation designs, entertainment curation, and content curation.
